  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to employment; appropriating money for the 
  1.3             Minnesota employment center for people who are deaf or 
  1.4             hard of hearing. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA EMPLOYMENT CENTER FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE 
  1.7   DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $300,000 in fiscal year 2002 and $300,000 in fiscal year 
  1.9   2003 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner 
  1.10  of economic security for grants to the Minnesota employment 
  1.11  center for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.  This 
  1.12  appropriation is in addition to the amount appropriated as the 
  1.13  base level funding for the 2002-2003 biennium for the Minnesota 
  1.14  employment center for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
