A bill for an act
relating to state government; requiring a recession estimate for the state forecast
in certain circumstances; amending Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 16A.103,
by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 16A.103, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

Each forecast must include estimates of the impact
of an average recession on the revenues and expenditures included in the forecast if the
recession began one year from the date of the forecast.
