A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; directing the commissioner of transportation to
establish engineering qualification for bridge inspection team leaders.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin BRIDGE INSPECTION TEAM LEADER QUALIFICATION.

new text begin The commissioner of transportation may not certify an individual to act as a bridge
inspection team leader if the individual is not a registered professional engineer who
possesses all additional qualifications established by the commissioner. This section
does not affect the validity of bridge inspector team leader certifications that were issued
before the effective date of this section.
