  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money for 
  1.3             engineering design of roadway rehabilitation and 
  1.4             adjacent Lake Links Trail development in Ramsey and 
  1.5             Washington Counties. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [LAKE LINKS TRAIL AND ADJACENT ROADWAY.] 
  1.8      $840,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of transportation for a grant to Ramsey and 
  1.10  Washington Counties or either of them as jointly agreed to 
  1.11  prepare engineering design documents for the rehabilitation of 
  1.12  the roadway and the development of an adjacent trail for Marked 
  1.13  Trunk Highway 120 from its intersection with Joy Road to its 
  1.14  intersection with 20th Street in the city of North St. Paul, for 
  1.15  Marked Trunk Highway 96 from its intersection with Marked Trunk 
  1.16  Highway 61 to its intersection with Marked Trunk Highway 244, 
  1.17  and for Marked Trunk Highway 244 from its intersection with 
  1.18  Marked Trunk Highway 96 to and including its intersection with 
  1.19  Washington County Road 12.  The design must be consistent with 
  1.20  the recommendations of the Lake Links Trail Network Master Plan 
  1.21  prepared for Ramsey and Washington Counties.
