  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; providing for the sale or 
  1.3             exchange of certain lands belonging to the board of 
  1.4             trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and 
  1.5             universities to or with the city of Inver Grove 
  1.6             Heights, Dakota county, Minnesota, for public library 
  1.7             site.  
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  [LIBRARY SITE.] 
  1.10     Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 94.09 to 
  1.11  94.16, the board of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and 
  1.12  universities may sell to the city of Inver Grove Heights for 
  1.13  fair market value or, in the alternative, exchange with said 
  1.14  city for lands of substantially equivalent value, approximately 
  1.15  8-1/2 acres of land in the vicinity of 80th Street, Dakota 
  1.16  County Road 28, for conveyance by the city to Dakota county for 
  1.17  use as a public library site.
