  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education funding; authorizing a grant to 
  1.3             fund the second year of a special education base 
  1.4             adjustment; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; ROCHESTER SCHOOL DISTRICT.] 
  1.7      The sums designated are appropriated in the fiscal years 
  1.8   indicated from the general fund to the department of children, 
  1.9   families, and learning for a special education revenue 
  1.10  adjustment for independent school district No. 535, Rochester: 
  1.11         $150,000     .....     2000 
  1.12         $ 15,000     .....     2001 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
