A bill for an act
 relating to state government; authorizing the
commissioner of administration to transfer state
surplus computers to Minnesota Computers for Schools;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 16C.23, by
adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 16C.23, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin The commissioner may
transfer state surplus computers to Minnesota Computers for
Schools for refurbishing and distribution to any school, school
system, college, or university in Minnesota.
