  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to economic development; providing for a 
  1.3             grant to the Science Museum of Minnesota for costs 
  1.4             related to the opening of the new museum; 
  1.5             appropriating money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $2,450,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2000 from the 
  1.9   general fund to the commissioner of trade and economic 
  1.10  development for a grant to the Science Museum of Minnesota for 
  1.11  costs related to the opening of the new museum.  This is a 
  1.12  one-time appropriation.
