BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin NATURAL RESOURCES RESEARCH INSTITUTE; APPROPRIATION.

$10,000,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated
from the general fund to the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota for the Natural
Resources Research Institute to invest in applied research for economic development.
