A bill for an act
relating to civil actions; including court file copy costs in expenses paid on behalf
of a person proceeding in forma pauperis; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006,
section 563.01, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 563.01, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

The court administrator shall provide a person who is
proceeding in forma pauperis with copies of the person's court file without charge.
