relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to the Lower Phalen
Creek Project for a cultural interpretive center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; LOWER PHALEN CREEK PROJECT.

new text begin $375,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $375,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from the
arts and cultural heritage fund to the board of directors of the Minnesota Humanities Center
for a grant to the Lower Phalen Creek Project for planning, design, installation, website and
mobile application programming, and cultural and historical educational programming for
the interpretive center at the Wakan Tipi Center.
