relating to environment; appropriating money for supply equipment for electric
vehicles.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CHARGING STATIONS FOR ELECTRIC
VEHICLES.

$10,000,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of the Pollution Control Agency to support the development of electric vehicle charging
stations that are accessible to all members of the public. No more than ten percent of this
appropriation may be devoted to equipment with a maximum charging capability of less
than 150 kilowatts.
