A bill for an act
 relating to education finance; authorizing a grant for Minnesota Urban Debate
League programs; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA URBAN DEBATE LEAGUE.

new text begin (a) $100,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2008 from the general fund to the
commissioner of education for a grant to Augsburg College as fiscal agent for Minnesota
Urban Debate League programs. Each dollar of state aid must be matched with at least 50
cents of revenue from nonstate sources.

appropriation.
