 relating to natural resources; modifying prohibition on snowmobile metal traction
devices; amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 84.8712, subdivision 1.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 84.8712, subdivision 1, is amended to read:


Subdivision 1.

Prohibition.

A person may not use a snowmobile with metal traction
devices on a paved public traildeleted text begin , except as otherwise provideddeleted text end new text begin that is designated closed to
such use new text end by a local government with jurisdiction over deleted text begin adeleted text end new text begin the new text end trail or new text begin on a paved state trail or
