  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to veterans; appropriating money for a 
  1.3             veterans memorial in Park Rapids. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $100,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1998 from the 
  1.7   general fund to the commissioner of veterans affairs for the 
  1.8   purpose of providing a matching grant for a memorial to be 
  1.9   constructed in the city of Park Rapids to honor veterans from 
  1.10  all wars involving the armed forces of the United States.  This 
  1.11  appropriation does not expire and is available until expended.
