  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for a 
  1.3             rental housing assistance program for persons with 
  1.4             mental illness. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.] 
  1.7      $1,500,000 is appropriated for the 2002-2003 biennium from 
  1.8   the general fund to the housing development fund for a rental 
  1.9   housing assistance program for persons with a mental illness or 
  1.10  families with an adult member with a mental illness, under 
  1.11  Minnesota Statutes, section 462A.2097.  This appropriation shall 
  1.12  become part of the base level funding for this program for the 
  1.13  2004-2005 biennium.
