A bill for an act
relating to public safety; appropriating money for emergency preparedness
coordinator.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, and $....... for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 2009, are appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of public safety
for an emergency preparedness coordinator. The coordinator shall work with the St. Paul
police and fire departments to coordinate emergency preparedness efforts regarding state
facilities located within St. Paul. This money is added to the department's base budget.
