  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; appropriating money 
  1.3             for certain capital redevelopment activities in St. 
  1.4             Paul; authorizing state bonds. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [DALE STREET SHOPS, MAXSON STEEL, AND FORMER 
  1.7   STROH BREWERY PROPERTIES.] 
  1.8      $15,000,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2000 from the 
  1.9   general fund to the commissioner of trade and economic 
  1.10  development for a grant to the St. Paul port authority for 
  1.11  capital redevelopment activities including property acquisition 
  1.12  and business relocation on and around the Dale Street Shops, 
  1.13  Maxson Steel, and the former Stroh Brewery Properties.
