  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             a grant to Chippewa county for design and engineering 
  1.4             specifications for certain recreational facilities. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $55,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of natural resources for a grant to Chippewa county 
  1.9   for design and engineering specifications for: 
  1.10     (1) expansion of the landing and boat access on the 
  1.11  Minnesota river at Wegdahl and related development of a regional 
  1.12  park; and 
  1.13     (2) development of a 15-mile multiuse trail along the 
  1.14  Minnesota river valley connecting the city of Granite Falls to 
  1.15  the Chippewa county regional trail system. 
  1.16     The appropriation is available until June 30, 1999.
