BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SUSPENSION OF STANDARDIZED TESTING.

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 120B.30 or 123B.42, or any other law to
the contrary, the commissioner of education must suspend standardized testing for
kindergarten through grade 12 schools for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year on
account of academic disruptions due to COVID-19.
