  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the Chub lake natural area. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of natural resources to acquire and protect land 
  1.8   and to make improvements of a capital nature for the Chub lake 
  1.9   natural area.  The appropriation is available until expended and 
  1.10  must be matched by federal or local funds totaling $500,000.
