A bill for an act
relating to employment and economic development; appropriating money for
industry sector training initiatives.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$200,000 in fiscal year 2008 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a
grant to HIRED to operate its industry sector training initiatives, which provide employee
training developed in collaboration with employers in specific, high-demand industries.
This is a onetime appropriation.
