  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; funding the on-line 
  1.3             computer-based library catalogue system in state 
  1.4             agency libraries; appropriating money.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [STATE AGENCY LIBRARIES.] 
  1.7      $123,000 in fiscal year 2002 and $123,000 in fiscal year 
  1.8   2003 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner 
  1.9   of children, families, and learning for maintaining and 
  1.10  upgrading the on-line computer-based library catalogue system in 
  1.11  state agency libraries.  Any balance in the first year does not 
  1.12  cancel and is available in the second year.  These appropriation 
  1.13  amounts are added to amounts included in the appropriation for 
  1.14  the department of children, families, and learning budget that 
  1.15  are for the same purpose. 
  1.16     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective July 1, 2002.
