  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; modifying angling license 
  1.3             fees; amending Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 
  1.4             97A.475, subdivision 6. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 97A.475, 
  1.7   subdivision 6, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 6.  [RESIDENT FISHING.] Fees for the following 
  1.9   licenses, to be issued to residents only, are: 
  1.10     (1) to take fish by angling for persons age 16 to 64, $17; 
  1.11     (2) to take fish by angling for persons age 65 or older; 
  1.12  $8; 
  1.13     (3) to take fish by angling, for a combined license for a 
  1.14  married couple, $25; 
  1.15     (3) (4) to take fish by spearing from a dark house, $17; 
  1.16  and 
  1.17     (4) (5) to take fish by angling for a 24-hour period 
  1.18  selected by the licensee, $8.50. 
  1.19     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.20     Section 1 is effective March 1, 2004.
