  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of trade and economic development for grants to 
  1.8   nonprofit organizations for the support of self-employment and 
  1.9   microbusinesses under Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.8745.  
  1.10  The appropriation is available for the fiscal year ending June 
  1.11  30, 2005.
