A bill for an act
relating to human services; allowing licensed psychologists to serve as lead
health care providers in behavioral health homes; amending Minnesota Statutes
2014, section 256B.0757, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 256B.0757, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin A psychologist licensed under
sections 148.88 to 148.98 and practicing in Minnesota may serve as the lead health care
provider, care coordinator, behavioral health care manager, or designated provider for a
behavioral health home established under this section to serve individuals with mental
illnesses or substance use disorder.
