  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing the transfer to 
  1.3             the city of Oakdale of certain tax-forfeited land that 
  1.4             borders public water in Washington county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TRANSFER OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; WASHINGTON 
  1.7   COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Washington county shall transfer the 
  1.10  tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.11  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.13     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.14  attorney general. 
  1.15     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Washington county 
  1.16  and is described as follows:  Outlot A, Oakpond Terrace, 
  1.17  Washington County, State of Minnesota. 
  1.18     (d) Washington county has determined that the land is 
  1.19  needed by the city of Oakdale for construction of a new fire 
  1.20  station. 
  1.21     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     Section 1 is effective 30 days after its final enactment.
