A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; modifying a prior appropriation for a grant to the
city of Golden Valley; amending Laws 2020, Fifth Special Session chapter 3,
article 1, section 16, subdivision 7.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2020, Fifth Special Session chapter 3, article 1, section 16, subdivision
7, is amended to read:


Subd. 7.

Golden Valley; Douglas Drive and
Highway 55

 6,500,000

From the bond proceeds account in the state
transportation fund as provided in Minnesota
Statutes, section 174.50, for a grant to the city
of Golden Valley to deleted text begin constructdeleted text end new text begin perform
preliminary and final design engineering,
environmental analysis, acquisition of
permanent easements and right-of-way,
reconstruction, and construction engineering
of local roads related to construction ofnew text end public
safety improvements at new text begin and near new text end the
intersection of Douglas Drive and Highway
55, including a box culvert underpass across
Highway 55, a roundabout and extended
frontage road south of Highway 55, retaining
wall construction, underground utility
relocation, sidewalk and trail connections to
