  1.3             transfer personal property to nonprofit corporations; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 471.85. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 471.85, is 
  1.7   amended to read: 
  1.8      471.85 [PROPERTY TRANSFER; TO PUBLIC OR NONPROFIT 
  1.9   CORPORATIONS.] 
  1.10     Any county, city, town, or school district may transfer its 
  1.11  personal property for a nominal or without consideration to 
  1.12  another public or a nonprofit corporation for the public use 
  1.13  good when duly authorized by its governing body.
