A bill for an act
 relating to human services; increasing operating payment rates for certain nursing
facilities in Koochiching County; amending Minnesota Statutes 2014, section
256B.431, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 256B.431, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Rate increase; facility in Koochiching County. new text end

new text begin Effective October 1,
2015, the operating payment rate of a nursing facility located in Koochiching County
and licensed for 54 beds as of January 1, 2015, that is reimbursed under this section or
section 256B.434 or 256B.441 shall be increased by $45 per resident day for all case mix
classes. The rate increase provided in section 256B.434, subdivision 19b, shall apply to
the rate adjustment under this subdivision.
