  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to health; exempting residential hospices 
  1.3             from certain food preparation rules; proposing coding 
  1.4             for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 144. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [144.5721] [HOSPICES EXEMPTED.] 
  1.7      A residential hospice program designed to serve the 
  1.8   physical and emotional needs of the terminally ill is exempt 
  1.9   from rules adopted under section 144.56 relating to food 
  1.10  handling practices, frequency of meals, quality and variety of 
  1.11  food, and menu planning.
