  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to liquor; authorizing Detroit Lakes to issue 
  1.3             one additional on-sale intoxicating liquor license. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [DETROIT LAKES; LICENSE AUTHORIZED.] 
  1.6      The city of Detroit Lakes may issue one on-sale 
  1.7   intoxicating liquor license in addition to the number authorized 
  1.8   by law.  All provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, not 
  1.9   inconsistent with this section, apply to the license authorized 
  1.10  by this section. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective on approval by the Detroit Lakes 
  1.13  city council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.14  645.021.
