  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for the 
  1.3             acquisition of materials and equipment and for 
  1.4             services at Fond du Lac Community College. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated in fiscal year 1996 and $....... 
  1.8   is appropriated in fiscal year 1997 to the higher education 
  1.9   board for the change in status of the Fond du Lac campus from a 
  1.10  center to a college.  The appropriation shall be spent to 
  1.11  acquire library materials and instructional equipment to improve 
  1.12  student instruction.  To the extent that money remains from the 
  1.13  appropriation after purchasing library materials and equipment, 
  1.14  it may be used to improve student services, such as financial 
  1.15  aid.
