Current Version - as introduced

  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to veterans; permitting World War I and II 
  1.3             veterans the same parking privileges as physically 
  1.4             disabled persons; proposing coding for new law in 
  1.5             Minnesota Statutes, chapter 169. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [169.347] [PARKING PRIVILEGE FOR WORLD WAR 
  1.8   VETERANS.] 
  1.9      Notwithstanding section 169.346, subdivisions 1 and 3, any 
  1.10  veteran of World War I or World War II whose vehicle license 
  1.11  plates so designate, is entitled to all of the privileges 
  1.12  specified in section 169.345 relating to a person who is 
  1.13  physically disabled. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
