new text begin (b) The Minnesota STEM Partnership must use grant funds to increase academic
engagement and provide youth access to robotics, workshops, and other activities to inspire
youth who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to participate in science, technology,
engineering, and math activities and pursue careers in those fields. Grant funds may be used
to purchase equipment, including a mobile robotics classroom, improve infrastructure, and
train staff and volunteers.
