relating to agriculture; requiring businesses that
sell leases to file a bond; proposing coding for new
law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 17.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin A business that sells leases for agricultural equipment
must file a bond issued by a surety company authorized to
transact business in this state and approved by the commissioner
of commerce as to solvency and responsibility. The amount of
the bond must be at least ... percent of the business's assets.
