  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; permitting independent school 
  1.3             district No. 2174, Pine River-Backus, to transfer 
  1.4             funds. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [FUND TRANSFER; PINE RIVER-BACKUS.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 121.912, or any 
  1.8   other law to the contrary, before June 30, 1996, independent 
  1.9   school district No. 2174, Pine River-Backus, may permanently 
  1.10  transfer an amount not to exceed $250,000 from its general fund 
  1.11  to its capital expenditure fund for technology integration. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
