A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money for the Commission Serving
Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing People.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION FOR THE COMMISSION SERVING DEAF AND
HARD-OF-HEARING PEOPLE.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $800,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated
from the Department of Commerce telecommunications access Minnesota fund to the
commissioner of human services to supplement the ongoing operational expenses of the
Minnesota Commission Serving Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing People. The appropriation in
fiscal year 2015 becomes part of base level funding for the commission.
