relating to economic development; appropriating money for the Minnesota Early
Learning Foundation.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA EARLY LEARNING
FOUNDATION.

$5,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2008 to the
commissioner of education for the Minnesota Early Learning Foundation under Minnesota
Statutes, section 124D.175, paragraph (b). The appropriation must be used to award
grants to early childhood development program providers for the purposes described in
Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.175, paragraph (a).
