A bill for an act
relating to environmental health; prohibiting the sale of certain products
containing triclosan or similar antibacterial compounds; proposing coding for
new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 116.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin No person shall offer for sale in Minnesota any personal
care products, cosmetics, or cleaning products containing triclosan, triclocarban, or
similar antibacterial compounds.

used solely in medical facilities.
