  1.3             Minnesota economic opportunity grants. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $3,169,000 is appropriated from the general fund for fiscal 
  1.7   year 2003 to the commissioner of children, families, and 
  1.8   learning for Minnesota economic opportunity grants. 
  1.9      [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.10  following final enactment.
