  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; appropriating money to construct 
  1.3             a segment of marked trunk highway No. 14 as a 
  1.4             four-lane expressway and to prepare environmental 
  1.5             impact statement.  
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [TRUNK HIGHWAY 14; APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.8      (a) $149,000,000, or so much of that amount as is required 
  1.9   to match available federal aid for the project, is appropriated 
  1.10  from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation to 
  1.11  construct marked trunk highway No. 14 as a four-lane expressway 
  1.12  between Waseca county highway No. 60 and marked trunk highway 
  1.13  No. 56.  This appropriation is available until spent. 
  1.14     (b) $2,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.15  commissioner of transportation to complete an environmental 
  1.16  impact statement for the expansion of marked trunk highway No. 
  1.17  14 to four lanes between the cities of New Ulm and Mankato.
