  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; ITV grant for independent 
  1.3             school district No. 95, Cromwell; amending Laws 1994, 
  1.4             chapter 647, article 6, section 41, subdivision 8. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Laws 1994, chapter 647, article 6, section 41, 
  1.7   subdivision 8, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 8.  [ITV GRANT; CROMWELL.] For a grant to independent 
  1.9   school district No. 95, Cromwell: 
  1.10       $125,000      .......      1995 
  1.11     The grant must be used to construct an interactive 
  1.12  television transmission line.  This appropriation is only 
  1.13  available to the extent it is matched by the district with local 
  1.14  and nonlocal sources.  The district may levy up 
  1.15  to $50,000 $125,000 to provide its share of local sources.  This 
  1.16  levy authority is available until used.  Notwithstanding section 
  1.17  121.904, the entire levy shall be recognized in fiscal year 1995.
  1.18     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
