Initiative.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin LAKEVILLE WORKS INITIATIVE.

new text begin $75,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2020 from the workforce development fund to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the Lakeville
Chamber of Commerce for the Lakeville Works Initiative to assist area employers, recruit
qualified applicants, train workers, encourage advancement on a career pathway, and retain
employees. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2021.
