A bill for an act
relating to health; appropriating money for transition services for deaf,
hard-of-hearing, and deaf-blind students.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$720,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of health for the
biennium beginning July 1, 2007, for the purpose of providing interpreters for a regional
transition program that specializes in providing culturally appropriate transition services
that lead to employment for deaf, hard-of-hearing and deaf-blind students.
