relating to appropriations; appropriating money for a grant to Kids Voting
Minnesota.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

$250,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2008 to the secretary of
state for a grant to Kids Voting Minnesota, a program designed to educate children about
voting and the democratic process. The appropriation is available until spent.
