A bill for an act
relating to restricted pesticides; prohibiting the
sale or use of Chloro-s-Triazine herbicides (atrazine)
after a certain date; proposing coding for new law in
Minnesota Statutes, chapter 18B.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.

HERBICIDES INCLUDING ATRAZINE.

The state, a state agency, a political subdivision of the
state, a person, or other legal entity may not offer for sale,
sell, use, or apply Chloro-s-Triazine herbicides, including
atrazine, after January 1, 2006.
