  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to the 
  1.3             commissioner of corrections for grants to Ramsey 
  1.4             county for its ACE (All Children Excel) program, to 
  1.5             Hennepin county for its Delinquents Under 10 Program, 
  1.6             and for expansion to other counties. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.9      (a) $1,500,000 is appropriated for the biennium ending June 
  1.10  30, 2003, from the general fund to the commissioner of 
  1.11  corrections for grants as follows:  $750,000 to Ramsey county 
  1.12  for the expansion of the integrated systems juvenile crime 
  1.13  prevention model called ACE (All Children Excel); and the 
  1.14  balance to the Hennepin County Delinquents Under 10 Program. 
  1.15     (b) $....... is appropriated for the biennium ending June 
  1.16  30, 2003, from the general fund to the commissioner of 
  1.17  corrections for grants for training about, and expansion of, the 
  1.18  ACE model to other interested counties.
