  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; providing funding for the 
  1.3             Minnesota foundation for student organizations; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA FOUNDATION FOR STUDENT 
  1.7   ORGANIZATIONS.] 
  1.8      The following sums are appropriated from the general fund 
  1.9   to the department of children, families, and learning in the 
  1.10  fiscal years designated for the Minnesota foundation for student 
  1.11  organizations under Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 124D.34: 
  1.12       $  910,000     .....     2000 
  1.13       $  910,000     .....     2001 
  1.14     This appropriation is available until June 30, 2001. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.16     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
