A bill for an act
relating to health; permitting the coverage of glucose test strips without a
prescription; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 62A.3093, by adding a
subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 62A.3093, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

Notwithstanding subdivision 1, a health
plan shall not require a prescription from a health care provider before providing coverage
for glucose test strips.
